As a first step, please make sure that you have followed the instructions on how to set up the gateway correctly. You can find them in this article.
It is possible that under certain circumstances, the gateway will not be able to connect to the internet. If this is the case, the LED for data should be a solid red. If it is blue, like in the picture below, the connection to the internet has been established.
If you are sure that the gateway has been set up properly and the data LED is a solid red, you can try the following:
- Move the gateway to a location where it must have internet connection. You can use your mobile phone to find an area with good reception.
- Take out the SIM card and make sure that it is installed correctly in the gateway. There is a small sign on the SIM card slit that indicates the correct way of entering the card.
- Take a picture of the SIM card when you take it out. It could be relevant for our support team to fix the issue.
If this does not work, please reach out to our customer service with a picture of the device and the LED lights. We will then get in touch with you to troubleshoot the device.
